Mango Caprese

For a unique twist on a classic dish, I recently made caprese using mangos instead of tomatoes. The dish was simple to create and the end result was a wonderful balance of salty and sweet that also looked pretty. To replicate the easy dish:
  1. Cut mangos into thin square or rectangle pieces
  2. Slice fresh mozzarella in a similar fashion
  3. Stack the mango and mozzarella, alternating between the two
  4. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar of your choice (I used dark cherry)
  5. Sprinkle with a few flakes of sea salt
In less than 10 minutes you can have a delicious, beautiful appetizer that will wow the crowd. I was certainly impressed with the results!
