Candied Orange Wedges

This weekend I was craving something sweet and refreshing so I decided to make candied orange wedges dipped in chocolate. I've had candied orange peels, orangettes, before and once had an entire wedge at Teuscher's (I'm obsessed with their champagne truffles and rarely get anything else, but the orange wedges looked too good to pass up). The candies were easy to make and turned out delightfully - fresh and citrusy. I loosely followed this recipe but added an extra 1/3 cup of sugar. If you have a double boiler, you can melt bitter-sweet chocolate, I used 56% cocoa, in it or create your own double boiler using a saucepan and a glass bowl. I was able to make a ton and I know my boyfriend and I will be snacking on them for energy boosts during late nights of packing.

xx Molly
