I recently read an article about Blackbird Pizzeria, a vegan pizza shop in Philadelphia and being the born and raised vegetarian that I am, I felt compelled to try it. As it turns out, it was quite good, the sauce was tasty and not too sweet, the vegan cheese was remarkably cheese-like, and let's be honest, there's nothing like a guiltless guilty pleasure. And with options like the fungi with mushrooms, garlic, and a personal favorite, truffle oil, this pizzeria will certainly be added into the rotation.
