NYC's Chinatown

As I mentioned, Chinatown has always been a part of Manhattan that has slightly overwhelmed me and I've felt a bit intimidated to really explore it. Recently, however, Alex and I took a food tour that changed our perspectives. The tour can accommodate vegetarians and showcases several restaurants and shops in the Chinatown neighborhood. Our favorites were Dim Sum Go Go, which has several veggie options, and New Malaysia where we had delicious roti. After a great initiation into the area, we're excited to head back and try even more spots.

Eastern Floral

Anthropolgie dress, Target sandals, Dior sunnies
I found these sandals on sale at Target not too long ago, and desperately in need of new summer shoes, I grabbed them quick. They've proved incredibly comfortable and versatile this summer. Also, is it just me or does this dress have some Asian flair to it (I think the fabric must remind me of Asian silks)? Anyways, Alex and I recently explored NYC's Chinatown, a place we have little experience with, and found some real gems. More on that coming soon!

September 11th Memorial

In line with our summer plans, Alex and I took a trip to the 9/11 memorial, finally, also visited the new observation deck in Tower One (we'll have to go back another time to see the museum). The memorial is powerful and moving and the views from the observatory are a beautiful reminder of just how strong, unique, and amazing this city of ours is.
